C.A.A.N.E. Senior News 2021

The past year has put CAANE’s Annual Elder Abuse Awareness Day celebrations on hold. The CAANE education committee looked for creative ways to educate seniors on abuse, neglect and exploitation and get resources in senior’s hands during these uncertain times.  With funds still available from the sponsors of last years canceled event, the committee was able to create a Senior News guide that will be printed and available by Elder Abuse Awareness Day-6/15. There will be 4000 copies for distribution in the community. The guide features articles about safety, mental health, community resources and more. More details will follow on how to pick up a copy of the resource once they are delivered. A digital copy of the piece is available at the link below.
